Nick oversees the strategic direction of the company and spearheads high-profile development and engagement initiatives. As the former Leader of Southwark Council, Nick played a pivotal role in delivering some of the UK’s most transformative regeneration projects, including Canada Water, Elephant and Castle, and the Aylesbury Estate redevelopment. His collaboration with Berkeley Homes on landmark projects such as One Tower Bridge and the Bridge Theatre underscores his ability to align ambitious developments with community needs.
His recent achievements include securing planning approval for a major film studio in Hertfordshire and a significant commercial development in Surrey.
Nick was awarded an OBE (2009) for services to local government. His unique blend of leadership, political acumen, and proven results ensures that Nick delivers exceptional value to Chess Engage’s clients.
